Chiclayo Peru

Chiclayo is one of the liveliest cities in northern Peru. There are also some smaller sites in the area that you can visit on day trips from Chiclayo. The city itself is relatively modern, but it does have some lovely spots for sightseeing and relaxing. The Plaza de Armas and Chiclayo Cathedral are good places to start exploring the city. Directly south of here is the Paseo de las Musas, a beautiful open park with classical statues. Chiclayo’s market, Mercado Modelo, is renowned throughout Peru for the unique products you can find there.
