Puerto Villamil Ecuador

Puerto Villamil is a small port village on the southeastern edge of Isabela Island in the Galápagos Islands. Of the roughly 2,200 people living on Isabela, most are based in Puerto Villamil. The harbour is often full of sailing boats, as Villamil is a popular stop for private yachts heading for the Marquesas Islands, being the westernmost town in the Galápagos. Puerto Villamil was founded in 1897 by Antonio Gil.
