Day 1: Arrival In Oslo

Welcome to the Kingdom of Norway – a country with the most beautiful fjords and nature on Earth! In summer, the midnight sun bathes the region in a never-ending glow, ideal for exploring the hiking trails and fjords at whatever time of day. Upon arrival in OSLO Gardermoen airport, transfer from the airport to hotel on your own. (Optional private transfer available to book) Enjoy a free evening in the city at your own pace. Day 2: Oslo Evenes – Sortland

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Meet your Tour Leader at the reception of the hotel for an informative meeting about your tour before departure. Depart at 10:00 with a private coach for the group flight to Evenes airport at 13:20 (Included) from Oslo Airport. Upon arrival at Evenes/Harstad–Narvik Airport, you will be met by professional local driver and the group will board a comfortable private coach. Overnight at Scandic Sortland

Day 3: Evenes – Sortland

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. After Breakfast you will join a RIB or boat tour to see the world’s largest population of white-tailed sea eagles and world-famous Trollfjord (Depart 11:00 – 2 hours activity). On the way you will have the chance to see from close a salmon farm and enjoy the information about birdlife, history and nature. After returning you will have free time either to explore the local culture and try stockfish (dried cod), whale steak (local specialty), or Arctic char. Exploring the Blue Town concept with local shops and artwork on buildings or visit Sortland Museum where exhibited coastal life, fishing traditions and local history. For those more adventurous spirits, Steiroheia (Sortland’s local hike) starts near Sortland and offers panoramic views over the town, fjord, and surrounding mountains. Day 4: Sortland – Lofoten – Svolvaer

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Depart from Sortland and after some stops for pictures arrive at beautiful Svolvaer. Before checking in you can join one of the optional activities: Fishing trip in Lofoten (4 hours) Sea Kayaking from Svolvaer (2 hours) Or rest and enjoy a sauna session of 90 minutes (optional) afterwards. Overnight either at Thon Lofoten, Nordis Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Lofoten

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. In the morning start a panoramic tour of Lofoten with tour leader. First stop at Lofotr Viking Museum for a guided tour. Travel back in time at the Lofotr Viking Museum where you can learn about the first skilled craftsmen to settle in Lofoten. You can also row a Viking ship! Archeological findings indicate that stockfish, made mostly of dried skrei (the Atlantic cod that migrates to Lofoten to spawn every winter) was first traded by the Vikings some 1,000 years ago. It's still one of the most important exports of the region. Optional Entrance: Magic Ice Bar Svolvaer Overnight either at Thon Lofoten, Nordis Hotel or similar.

Day 6: Svolvaer – Oslo Gardermoen

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Enjoy the free morning in Svolvaer before checking out and departing at 11:30 from Lofoten Islands towards the Evenes Airport area, crossing once more spectacular landscapes. We will follow the E10, considered a National Tourist Route, to cross the characteristic and spectacular landscapes of Lofoten: a contrast of steep peaks, white sandy beaches, and emerald sea. Along the coasts are scattered fishing villages with their typical “Rorbu”, the traditional red houses, often built on stilts, where fishermen live. Our late afternoon flight (17:15) will take you back to OSLO Airport. Arrival at Oslo Airport at 19:00 and easy walk to hotel for checking in and relaxation after you have said goodbye to your Tour Leader! End of our services. Day 7: Farewell

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Enjoy some last-minute shopping for the Viking souvenirs or a tour in Oslo, depending on your flight schedule. See you soon again in Scandinavia, Iceland & The Baltics!
