Nanjing Cultural Experience, Private Tour

Day 1: Arrival Nanjing

Upon your arrival to Nanjing International Airport or Nanjing Railway Station (please advise your arrival details in advance in order to arrange the pick-up), you will be met by an English speaking guide who accompanies you on the transfer to the city. The 30-minute private transfer will take you directly to your hotel in Nanjing. If you feel tired after the journey, you can relax and make use of all available services at the hotel. But if you are anxious to explore this awesome city, stroll down its charming streets and indulge into its unique vibe.  Overnight in Nanjing.

Day 2: Nanjing

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at about 8:30 at hotel´s lobby for our full-day Nanjing city tour. First we´ll drive to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum located in Purple Mountain eastern from Nanjing, that is considered the Holy land of all Chinese people living home and abroad, as it was built on the memory of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the father of the Republic of China. Afterwards we´ll continue to Linggu Temple, Nanjing's famous scenic spots. After the lunch at the local restaurant (included) we´ll be heading to Meiling Palace, Xiaoling Mausoleum of Ming Dynasty and Confucius Temple, a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, a great philosopher and educator of ancient China. You will be back at the hotel in the late afternoon and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Nanjing.

Day 3: Nanjing

Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the full day at leisure at this delightful city. Enjoy the ancient atmosphere of this age-old city and explore the unique history of all Chinese dynasties. Alternatively, you can book one of our optional tours: Optional Tour A: Yangzhou full-day excursion Pick-up time: 8:00 am This tour is the perfect way how to learn about the gems of the Yangzhou region! Yangzhou is one of China's historic cities dating back to the 5th century BC. Visit Slender West Lake that is a man-made lake where beautiful views and historic points coexist and He Garden, also known as Ho Family Garden or Jixiao Mountain Villa, famed as the top private garden of the late Qing Dynasty. After the lunch at the local restaurant (included) you will continue to visit Museum of Guangling King’s Tomb in Han Dynasty, the tomb of the first generation of Guangling King Liu Xu, dating back more than two thousand years of history. End time: 04:00 pm Optional Tour B: Nanjing full-day sightseeing tour Pick-up time: 9:00 am Enjoy this tour and visit some of the most unique gems of Nanjing. Yuejiang Tower, Yangtze River Bridge (the first heavy bridge designed and built using Chinese expertise) and city gates complex is a must, and together with the East Zhonghua Gate Historical Culture Block, this tour takes you to the past of the important dynasties of this city and their heritage. End time: 17:30 am Optional Tour C: Niushou Mountain half-day excursion Pick-up time: 8:30 am Niushou Mountain, located in Jiangning District of Nanjing, in the rocky mountainous region of Ninjang, in subtropical monsoon humid area. The mountain twin peaks look like ox horns, hence the name and it’s made of igneous rock. End time: 12:30 am Overnight in Nanjing.

Day 4: Departure Nanjing

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and at the agreed time you will be picked up by the guide at the hotel reception and together with the driver they will take you to the Nanjing International Airport or Nanjing Railway Station to go to your onwards destinations.
