Opis

Lake Chapala and the town of Chapala combine nature, culture, and gastronomy. It is one of the most popular excursions from Guadalajara, as it allows visitors to enjoy the largest lake in Mexico, stroll along its boardwalk, and discover the peaceful and picturesque life of the town. We then continue to Ajijic, a charming “Pueblo Mágico” with cobblestone streets and adobe houses. Next, we head to the Tequila Route, starting in Amatitlán, where we will visit a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the agave landscape. We will also explore the Hacienda de Oro of Don David Partida, where we will tour the distillery and taste tequila and agave liqueurs. The journey continues to the town of Tequila for a walking tour through its main areas, including the kiosk, monumental letters, the Santiago Apóstol temple, and José Cuervo shops. We finish at Matices Hotel de Barricas, famous for its barrel-shaped rooms and its underground restaurant “La Taberna del Cofrade.”
